dancergirlmom Posted February 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2008 We leave on the Radiance on Saturday. My husband seems to remember that in the past we've been able to put all of our tips on our credit card. Is that true on RCL? We're bringing cash for small things like room service, luggage at the airport, etc. - but would prefer not to have to bring hundreds in cash for the tips for the waiters, cabin stewards, etc.
Sue L Posted February 13, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2008 Technically yes, the tips can be put on you seapass account which is hooked to your credit card. They will put a form in your cabin the 3rd or so day asking if you want them put on your account and then the last day you will get the vouchers and envelopes to hand out. sandancer Posted February 13, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 13, 2008 Yes you can. They will give you the opportunity to put your tips on your shipboard account and at the end of the cruise you will have vouchers left in your stateroom which you slip into the gratuity envelopes just as you would cash. You then settle your account be credit card in the usual way.
teajak Posted February 13, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 13, 2008 You can put them on your sail and sign card and you receive a voucher to give them or if you prefer to give them the cash, we do, get the cash in the casino,it is then charged to your card. suezyq50 Posted February 14, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 14, 2008 The recommended tip can be put on the pass. Anything more is paid with cash.
