Advice needed for doing the Secret Itineraries Tour

Our Med cruise will end at Venice on Thu 5th June 2008. The Emerald will dock at 5:00 a.m.

 

We will stay only one day (June 5) in Venice and flying off the next morning. We very much would like to do the Doge’s Palace’s Secret Itineraries English Tour at 11:35 a.m.

 

We will be staying at Courtyard by Marriott Venice Airport. Would like to know whether it is possible for us to get off ship, get to the hotel, deposit our luggage and go to Doge’s Palace to take the 11:35 am tour? Have not checked the maps yet.

i asked about catching an 11:30 am flight after a 7 am arrival in venice on splendour and was assured that would be no problem at all. sounds like what you want to do is less hassle, so you should be able to make the tour. i'm not sure whether you'll really want to go all the way to your hotel though. it would make more sense to store your luggage at piazzale roma.

I would also use the left luggage facility at Pizzale Roma then perhaps take the bus or taxi to the Airport
