My wife and son and I have not yet cleared the wait list for the Holiday Cruise.

Hard to get a precise answer, but it seems there are about 3 ahead of us on the wait list.

 

We are looking into alternate plans, and may have to "pull the trigger" on those plans before hearing from Cunard.

OK folks, we're getting down to the wire. Still haven't cleared the wail list for the QEII Christmas cruise.

We're waitlisted in a couple of Caronia categories (I think C2 and C4), though at this point I'm open to other options. I did turn down one of the penthouses a few weeks ago ($26,000 per person was a bit outside of our budget).

Still no good news from Cunard. As of yesterday, there were a few cabins available on a guarantee basis, but they could not book us a triple cabin.

I'm afraid there is no good news to report. We were not able to clear the wait list. We are very disappointed. As of yesterday (Monday) Cunard was still selling guarantee cabins in several categories. But they were not able to sell us a cabin for the three of us.

 

As I write this I am but a few blocks from the QEII, ready willing and able to hop on board. More than a little frustrating.

 

Anyway, I wish you and your friends and fellow sailors a wonderful voyage. I hope you all enjoy the grand lady and make some great memories.
