Kittycat Posted June 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2004 Has anyone taken this trip? If you have, can you give me any info please, such as departure and arrival time, cost etc. We have also looked at other Luau's where you have to get there on your own, some of which are about an hour from Waikiki, but is that very difficult, and can you be sure of getting back to the ship in good time. Any info would be much appreciated. RvrCrzr Posted June 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2004 kitty... I am thinking about taking the Island Princess in 2006 to Hawaii. I hope you will write a review of your experience upon your return. (I also hope you get a response to your question that helps!) forgetmenot64 Posted June 14, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2004 We're going to Hawaii on the Serenade 9/26 & have booked a reservation for a luau at Paradise Cove. They have free transportation from some of Waikiki's hotels. So you could just arrange to be at one of the hotels for pickup. If you go to www.tombarefoot.com they are about $11.00 cheaper than booking through the luau's website. Can't tell you anything about the time you'll get back to the ship. Have a great Cruise!
