dsstasz Posted February 19, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2008 Sailing on Sensation April 6th. Itinerary states we arrive in Nassau at 7 am. How soon can we leave the ship? Am looking at an excursion (non-Carnival) that states it picks up at 8:15 am at the cruise ships. Is this cutting it too close? There is also an afternoon time but that kinda breaks up the day. yst347 Posted February 19, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2008 Once the ship has tied up at the pier, passengers can disembark. The first off the ship will probably be by 7:30 but definitely by 8:00, unless the ship was delayed in arrival. You should have no trouble meeting your tour guide on the pier at 8:15. The tour people probably give this time because they know it works...after all, it is their business.
Jilltoons Posted February 19, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2008 One of the things you miss (not that big of a deal) - but when you leave the ship they usually have a photo op......If you leave the ship early you might miss this - we missed it at St. Maarten.
