Carnival questions......

We having been looking at sailing with Royal Caribben (Soverign of the Seas) but honestly I am thinking of going with Carnival. Some of the things that I have heard about SOS make me a little uneasy. Has anybody been on RC Soverign of the Seas and Carnivals Sensation? How do these 2 ships compare. Carnival is a little more expensive but it may be worth it in the long run. Does Carnival sell pop packages? If so, what is the cost? Are you allowed to carry on your own pop on Carnival? thanks!

I have been on the Sensation twice, and Sov of the Seas once.....

Sensation wins hands down !!!!!

I have been on 7 Carnival cruises and 1 RC.....

SOS had no atrium....it was old........which the sensation is too, but in GREAT shape....

There is no comparison.

The rooms on SOS were tiny tiny tiny !!!!!

Staff on sensation were much nicer.

Just my opinion.

I personally have never sailed on RCCL because it is always more expensive than CCL. I have sailed on CCL Sensation 2x, in fact just got off of her. Other than the rough seas this time, and the construction going on above our cabin, things were fine.

When I look at cruising, I look at RCCL, CCL, and DCL, and each time, CCL has proven to be cheaper than the other two hands down.

$689* CCL OV FOR 10/25

$798.00 RCCL OV FOR 10/19 (COVERS DATES WE WANT)

AND DCL IS SOLD OUT FOR THAT WEEK, BUT WOULD COST US ABOUT 7000$ TO DO IT IF IT WERE AVAIABLE.

SO WHO AM I GOING WITH? CCL BECAUSE IT IS CHEAPER.

sorry for the all caps. accidently hit caps on.

The difference in CCl and RCCL is a rock wall. everything else is the same. pools, kids clubs, meals, rooms, etc.

go with carnival. you will like it better.
