Young newlyweds- Pride of Aloha?

Hello everyone, my youngest son (24 years old) is getting married in January 2005. They would like to go to Hawaii for their honeymoon. He's been on about 8 different cruises and has been to Hawaii before. She has never been on a cruise...ever. (don't know if she's been to Hawaii or not) Hubby and I would like to give them a cruise as their wedding gift.

Is Pride of Aloha a good ship for young newlyweds? Are there any other ships going around the islands? Not crossing the ocean...just flying to the islands, and then getting on the cruise. Any info you can provide would be most helpful...thanks!

Pride of Aloha is the only ship that does just the islands. NCL has at the present another ship that does 11 days, the islands and then a day to Fanning Island and a day back (they must visit a foreign port). The other cruise lines do Ensenada to Hawaii, Hawaii to Vancover in spring and fall when their ships are reposintioning to Alaska.
