45 Day Letter

I read about the "45 Day Letter" reference on these boards. What is it?

A 45 day letter is the response letter that Carnival gives if they feel like it to people who either praise or complaint letter. In the letter is says to call the Guest relations department 45 days before you cruise; hence the name 45 day letter. When you call you will be given allowed to chose an item that will be delivered to your room.

I just got another 45 day letter in the mail. I wrote to Carnival about how wonderful my cruise was on the Liberty and how awesome the people were. I will be saving it til next april for the Splendor.

My wife called and given the choice of Chocolate covered strawberrys, bon voyage decorations and a few others picked 4 drink coupons:D

I picked the 4 drink coupons. You can get a foo foo drink in a normal glass for one coupon. I also got the photo coupon for some reason. You do usually only get one choice.

4-Soda Coupons

Plate of Chocolate Cover Strawberries

$15.00 towards any photos

I just called the Bon Voyage department the other day and chose the bottle of red wine as my first option. I chose the fruit basket as my second option should they not have any red wine available. They also offered chocolates, champagne, room decor, drink coupons, photo coupons. . . :)
