Alexis Posted February 26, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 26, 2008 Does anyone know why the hump exists on the Voyager and Freedom class of ships? Just curious. They are also on the Radiance class. Just a guess on my part but they are built around the center elevators and stairs and still have the cabins available around that also. These cabins are in a great location, have a great view, have totally private balconies because you are out further from the ship than all others, are near the elevators and the stairs, and yet there is no extra noise because of that. ;) The center Hump cabins are the prime choice with the best views. ;) The humps are located above the Centrums, near the computer area, libraries, and Loyalty Ambassador Lounges, and yet there is no added noise. Here is the Radiance class hump. Cabins mostly on one side of the hump only. Elevator on the other side. You can see the Centrum goes right up through it. So, the cabins have to go around it. ;) The Voyager class has cabins and elevators on both sides. Here is what you see on those ships. Again, elevators and stairs on both sides of the ship and a Centrum in the middle. So the cabins have to bow out to go around them.
Pumbaamd Posted February 26, 2008 #6 Share Posted February 26, 2008 Alexis has it correct. We had 9576 on Brilliance. Check it out on the deck plans.
