Glory/Pt. Canaveral cruisers....

We didn't hurry at all to get off the ship, was shuttled to get a rental car and drove to our hotel - the Wingate - near the Orlando airport and we were there easily by 10:30!

Luckily they let us check in early so we could go take in some attractions that day.

I guess I'm saying it would have been very easy for us to catch an early flight that day.

You should have no problem making the earlier flight. We were off the ship and at the car rental before 8 a.m. We actually booked an 11 a.m. flight for our summer cruise. That should make you feel better! Happy cruising!:o

What's the rush to get back to reality. Sorry.:p We always stay an extra day or 5. I need to get my land legs back before getting on a plane. One year we headed to the Keys and did some fishing. Fabulous.

The end of a cruise is such a let down. Getting off the ship is even harder. Not so bad when you know you don't have to fly home right away.

But anyway, you should have no trouble making the flight. It's an easy disembark, compared to Miami, and it's an easy drive, remember quarters or dollars for the tolls. You seem to run out of little change by the end of the cruise. Tipping everybody.

I love going out of Port Canaveral. We're sailing 3/08 and have a room booked on Coco Beach when we return. Plan to unwind on the beach enjoying a cocktail or 5. :p

Good luck and have fun.
