egurbi Posted February 28, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2008 Can someone comment on a family ocean view stateroom on an RCL Voyager class ship versus 2 cabins for family of 5 (children age 11, 8, 5). To my surprise, the price is comparable to a balcony and an inside, and with the latter you get an extra bathroom and a balcony (and the total space seems pretty comparable of the 2 cabins versus the FOV). Just interested in people have had really positive experiences with the FOV on Voyager class that would make me think I don't need the balcony or extra bathroom and would prefer the togetherness! Thanks.
askfrog Posted February 28, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2008 We don't have experience yet, but that's what we have booked for our up coming cruise. We are a family of 6. Kids ages 4 - 14. I didn't like the idea of having the kids in a different room or having hubby and I in seperate rooms. So that's what we choose. Should be interesting with 1 bathroom and 4 girls.:D
kitty9 Posted February 28, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 28, 2008 If prices are the same, definitely go for the Family Suite. They are great cabins, with loads of space and the two bathrooms are perfect. Those suites don't often come up with great deals, so grab it.
