... here is a tip that NO ONE has thought abouton these forums.Fill two wine or champagne bottles with your favourite liquor and cork it?Seal it with wax and your all set?

That's not exactly an unfamiliar concept on CruiseCritic, it's mentioned in almost every smuggling thread. Thanks, though.

Just as good, bring a bottle of something strong that doesn't even have a label in English. My in-laws always bring us liquor when they come to visit (a Russian tradition) and most of the labels are all Cyrillic. As long as it's not a clear liquid, I doubt they'd be able to argue it's not wine. My favorite so far is actually a hand blown glass bottle of some amber colored libation that is shaped like a miniature musket. It's so cool that we don't actually dare drink it!

Thanks for all of the information. I thought the person on the other end of the line was lying to me. I would rather be legal....My luck, they would find it in my luggage. We have an extended Aft balcony in April and I just want to be able to relax and have a cocktail in my cabin, if I want. Now mixers, that is another thing. LOL

It is not illegal to bring your own. Just carnivals rules;)
