Cabin above casino?

Has anyone had a cabin situated above the casino? Does smoke filter up a floor into the cabin? Thanks for any advice you can give me.

We sailed on the Glory, and yes smoke and noise filtered up from the casino. You could smell smoke just walking down the hallway when you passed over the casino. Our friends had a room right over the casino and it always reeked of smoke. This was in 2005, so maybe they have corrected the problem since then. We are going on the Valor in August and picked our rooms instead of getting a guarantee so we would not end up on the Upper Deck. Our cabin was close to the Disco and we had lots of noise until 2 or 3 every morning. Luckily, we don't sleep much anyway when we are on a cruise, but will not ever get another cabin on the Upper Deck. Again, maybe they have corrected the noise and smoke problem we had as it was 3 years ago.

Enjoy your cruise.
