Do you think you may have enjoyed that excursion more had the weather been better? or did you feel it wasn't run well and was just too long?

We would have never taken that long of an excursion, because for us that is too long; however if we were looking for an excursion that long, and enjoyed being on excursions that long, it would have been much nicer in better weather. Only downside to it then would have been the winding roads. As I said in my review, the tour operators did exactly as the excursion advertised, and they were trying to make the best out of a bad day, just wasn't working for everyone.......maybe for some, but not everyone. They get an A for effort though, they did try.:)

Another thing I meant to add in my review ..........I knew I was forgetting something:eek: In the dining room, on the 1st night, the maitre'd announced that they would not be doing the dining room entertainment every night, that they would be doing it every other night. Just thought I would mention that as well, before I forgot..........again:eek: :o

Yes, it was the same week, as a matter of fact, we played in the casino with a gentleman that was with them, and it turns out we'll be seeing them again in January. We booked Freedom for Jan.31st before we went on this cruise, and it turns out, they will be on that ship the same week we will next year.

I am also booked on that same cruise for this cominhg January. While on your last cruise with the large group did you have any issues with areas being closed due to the large group having private parties? On our last cruise this past Feb we came upon this. Never ever noticed it before on any of our previous cruises but this past one. I'm not at all saying that it ruined my cruise (that would never happen) but there were evenings when large portions of common outside decks were blocked off along with some other areas. Just thought I would ask. Thanks

There was a time or 2 I saw some of the clubs closed off for private functions, but it was during the daytime so it wasn't really an issue for us, but did not see any of the common outside decks closed at all. There was a wellness group and the bluegrass group on our cruise this past Feb., but it never interfered with what we wanted to do.
