Store Hours in Cozumel

I will be in Cozumel on March 8th on the Navigator. Our ship is in port until 8:00PM. How late are the shops at the port and downtown open? Do they stay open until the last ship leaves or do they close at 5:00PM. We really want to do our shopping last.

The locals dont shut down until the last boat leaves and then even a bit later.Generally open until 8:00 maybe even later.Dont worry shops will be open.We stayed for 11 days in February and found lots of good deals a few blocks back of the main shopping street .Dont be afraid to venture anywhere on the island it is very safe.
