suzysidesaddle Posted March 5, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2008 Has anyone taken it? How expensive is it? Is it worth all the time and money? Thanks
eandj Posted March 5, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 5, 2008 You might get a reply if you go to the specific cruiseline board or better the ports of call boards. Heard the Copper Canyon is wonderful! Even more impressive than the Grand Canyon...could it be?
anniecat Posted March 6, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 6, 2008 Loved it...but then, we purposely take train trips. Many hours in a not deluxe train car, opportunites to buy native crafts, surprisingly nice lunch, great scenery and amazing rail bridges and twists and turns (a near 360). But if you don't love trains...it's a long boring trip with "primative" bathrooms, a SUV vehicle running behind the train with soldiers and machine guns (protection), a nice lunch and "only" native crafts for sale and a short time at the canyon. Worth it? for me, yes. Would I go again? no, not without an overnight stay.
