DreDre Posted March 9, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2008 Question #1 We are looking to rent a car after our cruise. Does anyone know which car rental companies offer a shuttle service from the ship to the rental office or are there any rental companies directly on the port of Miami? Question #2 I have read on some of the other threads that you are allowed to bring on one bottle of wine? If this is correct, is it one bottle per cabin (couple) or one bottle per person is allowed? Also, can you bring cans of soda on board as well? Sorry new at this:( Thanks
Kayes Posted March 9, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 9, 2008 There is a shuttle service from Miami port... but Alamo had just one shuttle every 45 minutes for SEVEN arriving ships last November. It was horrible
seasand4us Posted March 17, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Hey Dredre, my DH and I are sailing with you as well. To answer your wine question: On a past 7 day CC, we brought a couple of bottles of wine and it was no problem. Another couple that was traveling with us brought a bottle for each night. Depending on the port you go through it may not be strictly enforced. They also allow a small amout of non-alcoholic beverages to be brought on board at embarkation. Hope this helps...
