Atlantis tour on Majesty of the Seas

Recommended Posts

My husband and I are debating if we should go on the Atlantis tour excursion on our Majesty cruise at the end of the month. We are alsothinking about just going over to Atlantis on our own and walking around Paradise Island.

My question is (for those who have done the tour)--do they allow people to do their own thing once the tour is completed? Or are you required to go back to the ship? If you get to go on your own, do they just provide a ferry pass back to Nassau? Thanks!

After the tour you are allowed to do your own thing just pay attention to the time so that you can get back to the ship without feeling rushed! Enjoy both your cruise and your tour, My DD & I sure did back in October!!

Whih Atlantis tour is it? And how much is it?

I have been noticing lately that there is another Atlantis tour for $150 pp which includes all access to Atlantis. There is a cheaper way to do this.

If you are talking about just the aquarium...then what's the price?

When we go to Atlantis we hop in a taxi and have a room rented for the night. It's cheaper for us then paying for 4 excursions.

It might be cheaper to go there yourself. Taxi ride or water taxi is only $4 per person each way. If you're on the 4 nighter that stays in Nassau until midnight, the aquarium is free to go in after 6 pm.

If you are interested in using the facilities (pools, beach, etc.) you either have to be a registered guest, or else you can be a registered guest at the Comfort Suites next door. Cruisers sometimes book rooms for the day so they can do that.

You can wander, if you're somewhere you're not suppose to be, believe they will let you know. I found that out last December.. Not many areas though. Check out the Casino and the shopping.. Awesome!!
