Laundry facilities on the Dawn?

Self service, specifically.

 

I'm sure this has been asked, but the search funtion is "temporarily down" and I haven't found the info on my own yet.

Yes there are a couple self service laundries on the Dawn. You have to buy the detergent which I believe is about a doller. My wife has used them several times but I can't bring myself to doing laundry. LOL. I do the paying and she does the clothes(packing and cleaning). I get the better of that deal.

there are 4 laundries 5,9,10 and 11 starboard side. Free to use except for soap which as the person above says are 1 doller(sic)...with iron and iron boards too...

Perfect! This will make packing for 6 a bit lighter. I'd rather toss in a few laundry tabs instead of packing another suitcase!

Some passengers leave their laundry in the machines for several hours -- blocking other users. There are no baskets to put that laundry in, so you can load yours. Just be assertive and you should do fine.
