Cabo was all about Cabo Wabo and the whale watching. it was a total booze cruise:p but we got to see whales jump. it was great. Gecko7:)

Can't wait hoping that it will be warm enough for kids to swim on ship? Did you do any excursions in Cabo we are Swiming with the dolphins and wondering if that is close to tender station? Thanks I was on the Elation this past week as well. The weather in Cabo and Ensenada was not as warm as I would have liked, mainly high 60s. I wanted to tan on the deck, but found that the temperature wasn't all that inviting for that. However, I noticed that the week or two before this week that the temperatures were in the mid-70s so maybe I just hit a cold spell.

iceman77_7 Posted March 14, 2008 #11 Share Posted March 14, 2008 What did you do in Ensenada? We're going in June and trying to decide if we want to do an excursion. Thanks My gf and I were cruising on a budget so we didn't book any excursions in Ensenada. We walked around downtown and tried to do some shopping. A good number of people went to La Bufadora and it seemed like they had a good time.
cheryltwin Posted March 15, 2008 #12 Share Posted March 15, 2008 hi iceman... we are sailing 4/6... i do have a couple of questions... did you park near the terminal? if so, where? we live about half an hour away from the port, but will be driving... there are so many lots advertised online that we don't know if one is really better than another... what was the debark. like on the elation? do you eat breakfast before you leave? is there any flexibility about when you get off? can you leisurely shower, get some breakfast, and leave when you want? not when they call your number? any idea about an inside cabin on the empress deck? we are under one of the dining rooms... wonder how noisy it will be, if at all? thanks much! My family is from SD so I got dropped off literally on the pier. There is a lot across the street that is $15/day that a lot of people like to use. From what I've heard, our debarkation was really smooth. You have to vacate your cabin by 8:30 AM and then wait on the Promenade or Lido deck. We were in no hurry, so we vacated at 8:30 AM, went up to Tiffany's for a leisurely breakfast until our number was called. From the time our number was called, we were off the boat in 10 minutes. If you have an early flight, you can let the purser know and they will give you an earlier number. If you carry off your own luggage, you can leave any time after debarkation begins. Everyone is supposed to be off the boat by 9:30-9:45 AM. Since I was in no hurry, I wanted to prolong my cruise vacation as long as possible! I stayed on the Main deck, so I can't help you with the noise question.

The piano man, Damian, was amazing. Did not go on excursions so can't help you there.
