Bringing Soda on board

I drink Dr. Pepper and know the Mariner only serves Coke. I've heard others bring their own soda which leads me to my question. When we board, can I just carr y a 12 pack on board along with some bottled water for excursions? If not how do people get these on board? First time on cruise not sure how things work. Thanks for help

Yes, just carry it onboard with you, or pack it well and place in checked luggage.

We have always bought soda in the first port we get to and have not had any issues with bringing it on board.

We just got off the Navigator last week. We traveled with 4 teens. I took along 2 cases of Coke. I put a luggage sticker on each case and gave them to the porters at the dock. They arrived in our room along with our luggage. Who wants to carry around 12 packs while you wait to get into your room?

We leave on the NOS next Monday. I had never thought to put a luggage sticker on the soda! Great idea.
