Caliber1 Posted March 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Sailing on the Inspiration in 3 days, any questions or specific things you want us to look for or get pics of. Got a new digital, so need to play and practice anyways. Ask away, and I'll try to get to everything.
Peaceful Posted March 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2008 I would love pictures of any of the rooms. We will be in a cat 12 this time, but may be in an ocean view another time. I love seeing details. Have a great time. Enjoy the new camera. My favorite part about a digital, as you surely know, is that you can take 500 pictures and hope for 50 great ones. Could you pay attention to whether or not they have to close it on sea days? I would really be disappointed if I spent the summer building up the waterpark to the boys and then find out that half the time it was closed. I'm sure you will be checking out the Serenity area, so come back with a report. If you remember - see if you can get a set of Camp Carnival Capers for me too. Luvb you! Have fun. princeryanandevan Posted March 17, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Hi - we are going on the Inspiration in the fall. It will be DH's first cruise and we are bringing our 2 boys (ages 5 & 7) and my mother. We would love to see pictures of the new Waterworks, the pool and Camp Carnival. My husband would definitely be interested in pictures of the dining room, any buffets and food in general :p We are staying in adjoining OV rooms on the Riviera deck so any room pictures would also be great! Hope you have an awesome time and I hope you post a report when you get back. Thanks so much! barbara

Absolutely, we will be in a Cat 12 U69, so I'll get lots of shots of the room upgrades. I'll try to sneak in a few OV's too and snap some shots. Actually bought it because it's waterproof to 31 feet or something, shock proof, and on and on. Might need to get another memory card though. I was on Inspiration 3 weeks ago and was in U74 right next door to you. In fact I got to be friends with the people that were in U69 !! The Suites are very nice !! NEW EVERYTHING !! I hope your lucky enough to get "Tonya" as your room steward.. She was AWESOME !! Took very good care of the Cat 12 customers.. I spoke to her a bit and I know she had 5 months left on her contract so I bet you will get her as that was her assign section.. SHE IS A VERY NICE PERSON..If you think of it tell her "MR KURT" (Her words :-) Says hello.. I Tipped her VERY WELL for her extra time and effort so I would bet she will remember me from only 3 weeks ago. The Balcony's are awesome as well !! On our way to Cozumel on Friday we had 40 MPH wind at Sea and you could sit out on those in-cut balcony's and enjoy the wave watching without being blown away as the wind blows right by you !! If you looking to kill an hour or two later at night try to get a couch seat at the "Rhapsody in Blue" Piano bar with Milburn.. It seemed pretty lame at first but he does grow on you ! Enjoy your cruise !! I wish I was back in U74 next door again !!:D
belleelc77 Posted March 17, 2008 #9 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Could you check out the details of formal picture packages? Specifically, I would like to know if you have to buy them all separately or if you can buy a package w/ multiple pics at a lesser price. TIA
star65 Posted March 17, 2008 #10 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Hi, First off, hope you have a fabulous cruise! We just booked the inspiration for August in a category 12 room also - we had to cancel a Miracle cruise because of cost and booked this and after 1 year of preparing for the miracle I am in all honesty having a hard time getting excited about this one. We have only sailed on the really big, newer boats and I am afraid this will feel like a let down. I have been searchign the internet like crazy for new reviews so any tidbits you pass along with be greatly appreciated! Thanks

My2tailwaggers Posted March 18, 2008 #21 Share Posted March 18, 2008 Have a great time!! We are leaving on the 21st of June. My question for all of you Inspiration cruisers is... What time did you board the ship? I have read that some get to the pier at 10:30 am and are up on the Lido Deck by 11:30am. When I asked Carnival a couple of weeks ago, they told me no one can board until 12:30. We would definitely rather be on the ship that waiting around in a hotel room!! thanks for the help! Cant wait to see the pictures! Debbie
