I now have 10,000 points on my Visa card. I know that for 5,000 points I can get a certificate for $50.00 on board credit. Since I have 10,000 points can I request two $50.00 certificates.

Absolutely! I redeemed my points before my last cruise and was able to get 3 $50 credits. It was a nice way to offset some of the on board charges.

I called yesterday to redeem 4, 5000 point certificates. No Problem. :)

I have a couple of questions (25,000 pts)... 1. From the time you called MBNA, how long did it take them to get you the certificates? 2. How do you redeem them. Do you just take them to the front desk when you are on the ship and they apply them to your account? Thanks in advance.

I received three $50 onboard credit certificates about a week after I ordered them. There is an address on the certificates that you mail them to - a C&C address in Wichita, KS.

Do you send them before you cruise or after you cruise? When onboard, I have my SeaPass charged to my CreditCard.

The last time I cashed in it took about a week and a half to get the certificates. (MBNA said to expect something like 6 to 8 weeks :eek: ) When you get them, fill them out PHOTOCOPY THEM and mail them in. If they don't show up on your seapass you can use the copy's as proof you sent them.
