Room Key Card Hint...

I took along a hole punch because I didn't want to bother going to the front desk or wherever. I punched a hole in the corner of the card (not the end with the magnetic strip!). I then attached a cheap carabiner (those claspy thingies) through the hole. We were able to just carry around our room cards attached to our belt loops that way.

Excellent idea! I've had to replace stateroom cards rendered useless by my magnetic sunglass clip-on's, accidentally carried in the same pocket.

Since I had to find a phone at 2AM on last cruise to wake up DH, I never keep my key card and casino card together. Never realized when I had to have casino card replaced that I had also demagnetized my cabin key card. Oooops, won't ever do that again!

I like the lanyard with packet because I can easily take the keycard out for scanning when you eat in a specialty restaurant or buy aything in the gift shop. I can put my driver's license in there too which is easier for me when we come back to the ship. My DS put his lanyard under his shirt.
