Received an email yesterday for an upsell from a Oceanview Cabin (F) to a Balcony (BA) for $75 pp.

 

Jumped on it and am pretty excited.

I am happy for you....but sad for me.

 

I am on the 4/20 sailing and didn't get any kind of upsell call. Albeit, I am VERY happy with my AF Mini-Suite - I will be staying in the same room for the 3rd time!!!! One day I will get to the Garden Villa (a girl can dream right?).

We are really excited about this cruise. I am an infrequent cruiser. In 1991 the Celebrity Meridian (Hurricane Andrew weekend), and 2002 on Carnival.

 

I think we're gonna pick up the pace a bit:D

I received an email from NCL, as I booked directly through them.

 

Maggie Charles is the women's name. The email said they only had 6 of these cabins available.

 

I was calling non-stop from 8AM. I left her a voicemail, sent her an email.

 

Found out she based out of Phoenix and finally reached her 12 Noon (est), which is 9am her time.

 

The room is mid fwd.....cabins below and above and none across. Far from eateries, speakeasy's, nighclubs, and icemakers.

I never dealt w/her.

 

I opened my email yesterday morning and saw an em from NCL telling me that I was being offered an upgraded cabin for $75 pp instead of the usual $365 pp.

 

It said there were only 6 cabins availiable and if I was interested to call this Maggie Charles or to send her an email.

 

I reached her a noon (9am her time). She hadn't even booted up her computer yet, and I booked the upsell.
