joanagain Posted September 27, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted September 27, 2004 i got it butt backwards, one needs to apply for tickets to the gardens 2 days in advance.....we have seen the museum and the sistene, as lovely as they are, we would like, if possible, to visit the gardens and to know if anyone had been able to visit the vatican gardens without an escourt...we have read that The Vatican Gardens can be visited only by those on guided tours or bus tours Tickets are available from the Tourist Information Office in St Peter’s Square; it is advisable to apply 2 days in advance.
