mikebz Posted March 20, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2008 I am thinking of taking the Monarch repo cruise through the Panama Canal. I have cruised the Carribbean for seven days. This one is much longer, and on a (relatively) smaller ship. I have been on Voyager class. What should I expect, as far as, activities, excursions, and the roughness of the sea. Thanks in advance. driftychick Posted March 20, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2008 Do expect and understand that the cabins are very, very, very small and the bathrooms even smaller! I know they say you are not in the cabin that much, but, trust me, on a cruise of this length it will bother you! We have sailed the Monarch on a regular basis and never go smaller than a Junio Suite, that way you have a sitting area and a balcony also. Enjoy your trip, she is a great little ship! So sad to see her leaving the West Coast!
