I am a new cruiser. I would like to know if we place the reservation oncourtesy hold directly from CelebrityCruise website, can will still can bargain for the price drop with the travel agent?

I never use a travel agent because if there's a price drop I'm on it immediately, don't have to wait to tell the t.a. to then have her call, and maybe it will be gone by then. I always book directly with Celebrity over the phone, never had a problem.

Yes. You can even book the room (place the deposit) and then find a better price with a travel agent. Then transfer the booking to the travel agent. Note that once you transfer the booking to a travel agent all communication and/or changes must go through the agent.
