fishing in juneau

My family wants to do some halibut and salmon fishing while we're in Juneau on 6/30. Can someone recommend some local companies? Also, does anyone offer 1/2 day fishing for both? Thanks.

We're going to be in Juneau with the Serenade in September and we've booked a 5 hour fishing trip with Alaskan Marine Adventures.

Case Harris is the Captain and Jolee is his office manager. They've been great to work with thus far, very knowledeable and very accomodating. I also found their prices to be very reasonable.

We're also in Juneau on June 30th, party of 2, looking for half day fishing excursion:) I just emailed Alaskan Marine Adventures to see if they have anything available. Did you find anything yet? We're on the Oosterdam.

We used Rum Runner Charters. Chris was a great captain and he brings along his yellow lab "Moon!" He's web site is www.rumrunnercharters.net I'm not sure if it's to late to reserve but I would try him!

We have booked with Rum Runners for our trip in August. Chris seems to be very nice. How was the fishing? We don't get into port until 2pm, so I am hoping the fishing is good in the afternoon. Did you see any wildlife while fishing - whales, eagles, etc? Also, did you have your fish processed and sent home?
