roe2ship Posted September 28, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2004 Specifically on the Radiance and Voyager class, which has more space and deck chairs at the pool areas? How many pools on each? Any kids pools, slides? TIA

nh75063 Posted September 28, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 28, 2004 On Voyager class, there is a Solarium pool with two HUGE hot tubs, two main pools with four hot tubs, and a kids pool with a slide. Radiance class has a Solarim pool with one hot tub, one main pool with two hot tubs and a smaller kids area with a slide. The Voyager class is wider and longer than the Radiance class, so there's a pretty significant difference between the deck areas. Hope that answers your questions! nh
beachchick Posted September 29, 2004 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2004 Mariner doesn't have the kid pool with slide. It was replaced in the plans with a teen area (I think). Also, as with other RCI ships, the Solarium pool is adults only. The Voyager class ships carry more pax, so the deck size difference isn't really that apparent when comparing how crowded (or not crowded) it seems. beachchick
superjerryw Posted September 29, 2004 #5 Share Posted September 29, 2004 It doesn't matter. On any ship on a sea day there will never be enough deck chairs near the pool as the chair hogs will be out there before sunrise to claim their spots.
