Internet fees on GEM

Can anyone tell me how much it cost use the internet on the GEM?

Same on all NCL ships, and pretty close to other cruiselines.

 

$.40 to $.75 per minute. Same if you use their computer or your computer, wireless or wired.

If you can wait till the last full day (at sea, Friday), they were offering 1/2 price minutes.

 

Also, I think on Wednesday they had special offers. Not as good as Friday's.

I always purchase the 250 minutes for $100.00.

It enables us to check in with our family and the office.

 

We find the service to be much speedier now than in the past years so if you do not need that many minutes, you can choose a cheaper plan.

 

Specials are offered but you must read your daily each day to check on them.

I sign up on the first day so I cannot utilize the specials;)

Just say no to the day to day...you don't want to know what is going on in the outside world..you are on vacation...it will still be there when you get back...susan:rolleyes:

When we cruise we wait till we go ashore and then go to an internet store and connect to breifly check emails. Better; yet- find the local library (Bermuda) and it is free

On the Pearl I paid by the minute because I was not planning to use the minimum which I think was $55. You have to pay a set up free of $3.95 then .75 cents per minute for the per minute usage.

I never did the internet on any of my cruises and wasn't sure if I wanted to post a "Live from the Gem" but I am thinking I just will sit back and enjoy myself and tell everyone about it later:D
