New to RCCL. Looking at a Aug or Sept Cruise to Alaska

HI All,

I know it is last minute but we are looking for a R/T cruise through the Inside passage in either Aug or Sept of this year. We are looking at a balcony or suite on the Serenade out of Vancouver. Can anyone give me some recommendations or insights on this ship and cruise? I have been to Alaska before on Hal but am looking to try a different line.

 

How is the Service?

Food?

Is the ship worn or in good shape?

 

Any help is appreciated.

Sorry I can't help very much, but I can tell you that this ship just came out of dry dock a couple of weeks ago so it should be in great shape. And when we were on the Vision in January the food and service were outstanding. We will be on the Serenade on 8/9/08 and we are hoping for the same great service we have had in the past. You should join us on this sailing, as there seems to be quite a few balconies and suites left to pick from. :D

All the Radiance Class ships are in good shape! The serenade will just turn 5 yrs old this summer.

 

The food and service have been great on the Radiance Class ships!, however I have not been on HAL so I can't compare.
