Just wondering if P&O are like Cunard, and serve afternoon tea at 3pm when we embark the Oceana?

 

Just wondering as we will be travelling from London so breakfast at 7am, and don't really want a motorway services lunch.

P&O serve lunch in the buffet restaurant from around 12:30, continuing with afternoon tea from around 3pm. They now have earlier checkin from 12:00. So whatever time you board there is something to eat. Lifeboat drill is around 4:15, then champagne on deck for sailing at 5pm

Breakfast at 7 am in London is very early for a 12 noon boarding. Is that travel by train?

I tend to take my time as it’s only about 90 miles from London to Southampton. Normally takes me 2 to 3 hours in the car, unless the traffic is rubbish! I might even manage a Coffee on the way down... lol.
