D114 on CB

This is my assigned stateroom. Has anyone been in it. How is the ride since it is very forward? I think it will be fine but just curious. Thanks for any input.

Just back from Caribbean Princess and stateroom D114. You will find the ride OK we did and had some heavy seas. Only thing we noticed was the anchor in Princess Cays this is rather loud.

You will have a long walk to the back of the ship though.

We found it to be a very good stateroom with plenty of space etc.

Thank you so much for the info and the pictures. I'm going in June so hopefully the seas will be calmer. Did you enjoy the cruise? Did you find you had more privacy in the front of the ship (ex: People looking down at you from above)?

Regards the looking down did not bother us at all. There is only one room above you and we never saw anyone on that balcony.

Yes it is quite away forward but this did not bother us, when we went to the buffet area we used to walk all the way down the corridor and take the last set of lifts up to the buffet that way we missed all the other people.

 

Cannot remember the cabin stewards name but hope they have changed by then, he did not remember to bring such things as soap etc we had to ask.

When we arrived the cabin was made up for 2 people and we were three. Asked why this was and he said it was due to his assistant that it was not made up correctly. We never saw an assistant all week and felt this was just an excuse.
