Zobrina Posted March 27, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 27, 2008 I have heard that Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville is located very close to the tender pier. Does anyone know?

Misnco Posted March 27, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 27, 2008 Yes, you can easily walk to Margaritaville from where the tender drops you off. We had a great time, but it is pricey...

sdirector77 Posted March 28, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 28, 2008 It is close to the tender docks yes but beware it is expensive. Ocho Rios was much more reasonable. I believe there is a 16% tax added to your bill. Still a great time
misguidedangel Posted March 29, 2008 #6 Share Posted March 29, 2008 Margaritaville is right across the street from North and South landing. If you are docking at Royal Watler, you have a wee walk of at least two blocks.... Pricy yes, but fun! Grand Turk has a HUGE Margaritaville. Prices are high there too! drychi Posted March 30, 2008 #7 Share Posted March 30, 2008 You will be able to see it from the North or South tender docks. It is right across the street in the Anchorage Center on Church Street. The bar and dining room are on the second level. Big shop on the ground level. The outdoor pool and water slide are nice also. We had a great time there. The nachos, the bartenders, and the DJ were all great. Have a great visit.
drew sailbum Posted March 30, 2008 #8 Share Posted March 30, 2008 Margaritaville is across the street from the North Terminal, and a shorrt walk from the South Terminal or the Royal Watler Terminal. The restaurant is on the second level of the Island Plaza (formerly named Anchorage Center) and you enter the restaurant through the stairs in teh ground floor gift shop. There is no tax added to the bill - and no sales tax in Cayman. There may be a service charge (automatic tip) added to bills for parties of a certain size. Prices are on the menu in the local currency CI$. (CI$1=US$1.25)

LefNJ Posted May 2, 2008 #17 Share Posted May 2, 2008 Is there a charge to use the pool? Do they have lounge chairs -- is there a fee for them? Is it similar to the one in Grand Turk?
10splyr Posted May 4, 2008 #18 Share Posted May 4, 2008 This really describes Margaritaville. We were there yesterday for lunch: had 1 order of nachos, and 1 quesadilla, 3 regular margaritas and it was $96 US with tip - and we are NOT big tippers:eek:
bdtmoult Posted May 4, 2008 #19 Share Posted May 4, 2008 Pool area isn't that large - not at all like Grand Turk. You can use the pool and slide for free but not a place to lay in the sun or anything.
