I don't have photos, but we did stay in E-228 and E230. If you're wondering about obstruction, E-228 is just fine. There are the metal whatchamacallits outside the window, but you can still see plenty of ocean.

That's what i thought, but wasn't sure E227 looks like it won't be too bad. Were the beds in front of the window or to the side? Not important, just wondering!!

"whatchamacallits" = davits (small cranes used to raise or lower lifeboats/tenders from deck to water level.) ;)

I have sailed in E228, and the view from the window is not bad. We were expecting a seriously bad obstruction, but we pleasantly surprised. It's not perfect, but it isn't terrible either.
