ellenstarr Posted March 28, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2008 Hi all! The hubby and I are sailing on the Golden Princess out of LA on April 26th. Does anyone know what the different theme days are for dinner on this cruise? Are they similar to the Caribbean menu? I'm hoping for a Mexican theme night. (crosses fingers) Thanks in advance for any info! :)

Degas Posted March 28, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 28, 2008 My understanding is that all Princess ships use the same menus. I also heard that they just changed all the menus on all the ships.

BJS Posted March 28, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 28, 2008 Same menus for all Princess cruises no matter where they cruise. They just add more menus (ones in their files) for longer cruises. New menus were introduced last year and will be fleet wide - if they aren't already. .

Riviera cruise on Golden. http://www.tomandemily.com/index_files/CruisingMainPage.htm Does anyone have more recent menus? Sounds like all the ships are changing over to small plate/ large plate format. Can anyone just off the Golden answer that? Thanks! :)
vplsh Posted April 7, 2008 #7 Share Posted April 7, 2008 Just got off the Golden on Saturday. The menus pictured on the above website are the same ones we were served. The food and service on the Golden are wonderful. Maitre'D Salvatore and Head Chef J.P. are fantastic, and their staff follow their lead. Enjoy! jsds Posted April 8, 2008 #9 Share Posted April 8, 2008 We are also on the 26th Golden to Mexico, this is our second cruise and again on the Golden, last July was Alaska, loved the ship, food, service, can hardly wait! Glad to hear everything was still great. We had wonderful service in the anytime dining room last July, they remembered us everytime we walked in, what our grandchildren liked, disliked etc. Looking forward to a wonderful cruise!
