Jamrenjer Posted September 30, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2004 Hi- There are some things for kids at Sunset-- some type of "Kids Club". I do know they are building a water park that I believe is supposed to be finished by December. Our kids love going there-- but it will be even better after the water park is completed.:)
cruisinqt Posted October 1, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 1, 2004 Sunset beach provides a volleyball court with equipment if your kids are into volleyball. They also offer non-motorized watersports like paddle boats, canoes, and they even have kid size hard back floats to float on in the water. :) We got some beach toys in a beach bucket real cheap since it's the end of the season and all summer stuff is on clearance right now. ;) So our kids can also build sand castles with their beach stuff now. They are bringing it in their backpacks along with a few other small toys to keep them happy when we have down time on the ship.
sea_u_onboard Posted October 10, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 10, 2004 Instead of packing up a bunch of stuff that we have to lug on the ship we leave the cheap bucket and toys behind so another child can use them. In a pitch - when we forget to pack an item you can always find something form the ship to substitute. Large spoons and cups work great - and the plastic bucket they give you when you order several beers (at least on Carnival) work great. We only take a few item now and bring the rest from the ship - of course we return those items.
