GummyBear Posted September 29, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2004 Cruise Week Sept 29, 2004 "We know what rock climbing walls did for Royal Caribbean's image--get ready for suspension bridges and bungee trampolines when the Enchantment of the Seas is stretched in spring 2005 with a 73-foot midsection. The most striking addition--the suspension bridges-- will span 75 feet to either side of the Pool Deck below. The main pool area will expand by 50%, including a new circular Splash Deck for kids, which will feature 64 interactive water jets. At night it becomes a decorative fountain with a fiber optic light show. In addition to the four bungee trampolines, where jumpers are strapped into harnesses which keep them safely centered over the trampolines, the new sports deck will add four fitness stops to the jogging track. Other additions include 151 staterooms, an alternative restaurant, an ice-cream/coffee shop, Boleros Bar, and an island bar jutting out over the ocean." TWELVEOHONE Posted September 29, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 29, 2004 And the bow will be on hinges allowing to fold up when going through the Panama Canal. RCCL is an inovator in these type of changes. They were the first cruise line to streatch a ship when they did it with the Nordic Prince.
