Jungle River Eco Adventure

We are considering this tour. However, does it usually rain so that you need to take rain gear. And.....is there a big bug problem? My husband has enough of a bug problem just going out in the yard. They find him.

We did this tour in April and had beautiful weather. As to the bugs, we did use repellant just because you walk through a mangrove swamp to get to the boat and there were some little buggies there. I have to admit that most of the cruise is in the estuary so you are a little way from the banks and mostly what you will see is alligators and birds rather than bugs. We had a really great time - saw scarlet macaws, capuchin and howler monkeys as well as the river residents!
