Tabacon Hotsprings and Arenal Volcano

Has anyone ever done this tour? Was it really a 3 1/2 hour busride from Port Limon? Was the scenery good? The place sounds wonderful, but I'd love to hear any feedback from someone who's actually seen it!

I would also like to hear feedback for this one. I noticed that this resort has zip line tours, is there time to do one of those once the bus arrives at the resort?

 

I work with someone who goes to Costa Rica every year because his wife is from there. He said there is a lot of great countryside in Costa Rica, so the bus ride might actually go by faster if there is good stuff to look at. He said that many times you can not see the volcano because of the fog, but for me, I live in the PNW, so I might have enough of volcanos if St. Helens blows this week. :eek:
