ogm Posted May 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2004 We went as part of a combo Sea Aqu & Cave.tour. You climb up about 50 or so steep Steps. You are only allowed in with a guide who takes you to the different caverns. It was interesting I would recomend it

jenjaye Posted May 4, 2005 #4 Share Posted May 4, 2005 Anyone else have a recommendation on this? We're trying to decide whether to visit the Hato caves. Is it worth the time?
rollingstone Posted May 4, 2005 #5 Share Posted May 4, 2005 If you have ever been in any of the "caverns" in the US, you will not be impressed by the "caves". They were interesting. Stories about voodoo being practiced there, small bats flying around... We went on a tour of the city, went to the curacau distillery and to the caves. It was a nice package but I would not go only to the caves. Nancy
mwsrccl Posted May 9, 2005 #6 Share Posted May 9, 2005 They are interesting, but they are very hot inside!!! I thought they were better than teh caves in Barbados though!
