Vaccines - Bodrum, Turkey?

Recommended Posts

Well, if you are planning on having unprotected sex with the locals, then I'd worry about Hep C.

Other than that ... the CDC recommends Hep A & B (but Turkey has a relatively low incidence of these diseases and for a port stop I am not sure it is necessary.. your call).

The CDC's Turkey page: http://wwwn.cdc.gov/travel/destinationTurkey.aspx

The State Dept's page: http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/cis/cis_1046.html#medical

World Health Org's page: http://www.who.int/ith/countries/tur/en/

The U.K. and Canada have excellent health advice for travelers .. better than the U.S., IMHO. I haven't looked at their Turkey pages, but you an always google them.
