mishawn Posted April 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2008 To mail a letter from St. Thomas/St. Maarten, can I use US international stamps, or do I need to buy their stamps? I wonder if I can mail them onboard and use the stamps? The postman didn't know, so????
Bunkie103 Posted April 4, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 4, 2008 St. Thomas is the USVI, but St. Maarten is Dutch West Indies and St. Martin is French West Indies, so it depends on which side of the island you mail your cards from if you need Dutch or French stamps and the cards seem to take FOREVER. maillady74133 Posted April 4, 2008 #4 Share Posted April 4, 2008 I bought stamp from each port at the pursers desk. May be easier to find that way.

AdrenalineRush Posted April 4, 2008 #6 Share Posted April 4, 2008 You have to buy their stamp, even in the USVI. In St Thomas. their stamps are our stamps. As was mentioned you can get stamps at the pursers desk. I have founf that just about every shop that sells postcards will also have stamps...they just dont advertise it.
