To mail a letter from St. Thomas/St. Maarten, can I use US international stamps, or do I need to buy their stamps? I wonder if I can mail them onboard and use the stamps? The postman didn't know, so????

St. Thomas is the USVI, but St. Maarten is Dutch West Indies and St. Martin is French West Indies, so it depends on which side of the island you mail your cards from if you need Dutch or French stamps and the cards seem to take FOREVER.
