We had heard about the Royal Palms on this board (do a search on it). We took the bus (bus = van here) from the bus terminal which is about 200 yards north of the post office which is 2 blocks inland from the docks. I think we paid $5 US for both of us. They have free changing rooms; rest rooms and fresh water showers. We had a drink there before going on the beach. You do not have to buy anything, but we figured we should help support the family run business. Enjoy your trip. We went at the end of Feb. 2008. Just a note: we booked the Atlantis Sub on the internet - but got bumped by the pax of the Disney ship - our advice... do not try to book Atlantis on the web - they didn't honor our booking time. One lady was trying to put us on the group time we had booked, but the other lady refused a said we could go a couple hours later. We canceled, got credit card reversed and fled doing business with people like this.
