LSTEFFA Posted August 16, 2009 #51 Share Posted August 16, 2009 Cynthia, thanks for the pictures. They were a big help in my decision to wear bermudas!
maryevelyn Posted August 28, 2009 #52 Share Posted August 28, 2009 I don't think it really matters what you wear to "blend in". Once you pull out your camera you will be idenitified as a tourist. I, for one, plan to be snapping pictures at every opportunity!:)
auducky2 Posted September 2, 2009 #53 Share Posted September 2, 2009 I have 3 pairs of capri pants for our cruise (we leave Friday!!). I found them at NY&Co and they're linen, which is nice. I'm brining, burgundy, white, and khaki. I'll let you know if I get any strange looks, lol. J/K. :)
texas charm Posted January 27, 2013 #54 Share Posted January 27, 2013 Has anyone done a repositioning cruise? We are leaving Ft. Lauderale on Apr. 28 and the crossing is nine days before our first stop in Gibraltar. Just wondering what to expect weather wise during the crossing. After Gibraltar, we will be in Spain and France before we start the Med. portion of the cruise.

After Gibraltar, we will be in Spain and France before we start the Med. portion of the cruise. We did the same itinerary (except Alicante instead of Cartagena) on the Crown Princess (I know this year, it's the Ruby) on April 28th this past year. It was sunny and pleasant the entire cruise. Just a light sweater or jacket in the early morning and evening, but peeled them off during the day. We watched MUTS at least three times. And we've lived in South Florida for over 30 years, so we're sensitive to cold. Florence and Rome were in the low 80's.
