Ciampino to Termini

Hi,

 

This is our first trip to Rome and first Mediterranean Cruise. We are flying in to Ciampino Airport. How is the best way to get to Termini from Ciampino? Anyone comments on Celebrity's Western Meditterranean Cruise? As well, if I want to go to Florence and Venice via the train, when is the best time to book these and how far is the port of call Civitevecchia from the train station.

Subject to the type of train you would like to use: any long-distance train in Italy need to have seat-reservation: 2-3 monthes in advance.

Sounds like that you want to do as "shore excursion" from Civitavecchia???

 

how far is the port of call Civitevecchia from the train station.

 

It's a 10-minutes-walk from the station to the port entrance. From there is a free shuttle provided.
