bpd196 Posted April 9, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2008 Just booked for 11/1/2008-11/8/2008. First time cruising HAL. We have cruised Disney with the kids and Celebrity before kids. I know it is a brand new ship, but was wondering about other peoples opinions about HAL kids programs. My daughter will be 9 and 7. :)
cruzinkidz Posted April 13, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2008 Well, we cruise HAL alot with the kids. Our daughter has been old enough to be alone in the kids club 2 times now since turning 3 and it is so so. The satff isn't as trained as on other more family friendly ship and the activities sometimes are too general to the group and not age specified. We have been on HAL sailing where our daughters have been the only children! We have been given attitude when we have requested the Club be open on port days for a few hours. Just make sure you talk to the staff in the club and voice your expectaions for port days if you choose to have them visit there. It is hard to tell just how many children will be on your cruise. We like HAL because it is quieter on the pool decks without 300 screaming kids but now as our kids get older we find they don't have alot to do onboard and are seeking friends. Hope your kids have a great time though!
