Ventura Mini Cruise - 11 April 2008

Went to watch Ventura go out last night (we live at Gosport so we can watch them go out from Stokes Bay). She is absolutely huge. Oceana went out at the same time and she dwarfed the Oceana (in height that is). Saga Ruby, which was just behind her, looked like a rowing boat. Happy cruising to all who are booked on her.

We were on the Ventura and you are correct she is huge. She is similar in design to that of the Grand Princess (When it ain't broke don't fix it). She has wonderful decor although appears in my opinion to dark in many places. Perhaps this is because the bulk heads are mainly of a dark wood design (the brightest place was the washrooms.

All in all it was a nice ship and well worth the travelling from Ireland for 2 nights aboard her.
