kmavb Posted April 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2008 Wondering if anyone has gone to Skagway...and took an excursion on the WHITE PASS RAILROAD??? Is it accessable for disabled passengers. I'll have my Grandma in a wheelchair (but she can walk slowly)...and my other Grandma uses a walker. Will they enjoy the train ride??? And how easy will it be for them to board the train???
RichardK Posted April 13, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2008 We took the train this past June 2007 (excursion with NCL). We were in the next to last car. The last car was reserved for individuals with disabilities, etc. Both Grandma's will be just fine, for I assume all cruise lines & trains would make such accommodations available. Enjoy. Some of the cars do have lifts for wheelchairs.
